Tinika Prince, MA, CPCS, LPC, CSEC

Fighting the Good Fight! "John Lewis"

Tinika Prince is a Licensed Professional Counselor with approximately 12 years work experience in long-term Residential Treatment, Nonprofit, and Community settings. I have worked primarily with children and families addressing past trauma, sexual abuse, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and Commercially Sexually Exploited Children, (CSEC). Also, I have experience in working with LGBTIQ, Sexual identity/orientation, and transitioning. I will be starting a Sexual Abuse Survivors Group (coming Spring 2023) for teens and adults April 2022. Individuals, Family, Couples and Group Counseling will be provided. I started Humble Beginnings Counseling & Wellness Center three years ago with the vision to provide Holistic services for surrounding communities and people who are in pain whether or not that pain is from past trauma, emotional baggage, and life’s stressors.  I wanted to assist people on their journey to whole health and healing. What I’ve learned in my own journey is that my “Tragedy is tied to my Destiny” and as difficult as it was going through my own healing journey I knew it would definitely be worth the experience. I want to provide a safe, loving, caring, and human experience that we can relate to and/or work together in order to heal one person at a time at Humble Beginnings Counseling & Wellness Center.
